Bulbophyllum beccarii

Dendrobieae is a tribe of the family Orchidaceae, sub-family Epidendroideae with about 20 genera and over 2,000 species.

It is a large group of mainly epiphytic, sometimes lithofytic or terrestrial orchids, characterized by bare pollinia, without appendages but with a prominent column foot.

They are found mainly in the tropics with extensions into temperate regions in Asia, the Philippines, the Malay Archipelago and Australasia.
