Cyrtopodium andersonii

Cyrtopodiinae is a sub-tribe of the Cymbidieae tribe, which in turn is part of the sub-family Epidendroideae, family Orchidaceae.

It contains 3 genera and 90 species of epiphytic orchids from all over the neotropical region.

Recent DNA research shows that these three genera are more akin to the sub-tribe Catasetinae and this sub-tribe may be superfluous.
